Over 24 episodes. It’s quite ambitious for a newbie, but I am thrilled to share this space with women – single, married, entrepreneur, executive, momma, traveler, and everything else in between. I believe something special happens when people connect, it’s called community and we need it.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrew 10:24-25
As Christians, we can’t neglect community. We thrive on being joined with like-minded people who share our faith and can help to encourage us through our journey. Some of my most significant friendships developed through a small group I joined almost five years ago. I gained true friendship. We even journeyed through so many seasons together such as engagements, marriage, and motherhood. Being connected to these women helped me to journey better and kept me faith-centered when times were challenging. This small group was only one of a few groups that I immersed myself in during a season of longing for community.
God created us for a community. A community surrounded His son during his lifespan on earth. Those like-minded people, the disciples, prayed with Jesus, traveled with Jesus, and dined with Jesus. This is a community.
So I’ve decided to share my community with you and connect us all through a series of podcast covering the theme of motherhood, servanthood, and livelihood. I hope through these podcasts; you will find a greater sense of community and connect with the hearts of so many women who love Jesus and need Jesus just like you.
